Almost Grown Up | |||
I remember her growing; the twinkle in my eye, our hopes and dreams, our work and concern, her anger and love, her fear and confidence, and now she's almost grown up! I remember her body growing; bunting and cradles, walking and talking, piggybacks and birthdays, canoeing and skiing, clothes and cosmetics, and now she's almost grown up! I remember her mind growing; school and church, TV and telephones, music and books, aircadets and friends, driving and working, and now she's almost grown up! I remember her soul growing; happy faces and taking turns, sharing and helping, crying and laughing, wondering and worrying, dreaming and hoping, and now she's almost grown up! |
